NELUG to display at the Watch City Steampunk Festival in Waltham, MA on Saturday May 13, 2023!

Join us for a day of Victorian dress and futuristic contraptions powered by steam at the Watch City Steampunk Festival and see how that theme translates to LEGO creations.  We'll have steampunk themed MOCs (my own creations) as well as a community build event that the whole family can help assemble.  The festival runs from 10am to 5pm and is located on the town green in the center of Waltham.  Come one, come all for a fun-filled day of activities, events, displays and live music.  See you there!

NELUG: COVID and Beyond!

We wanted to give you an update as to what is happening with NELUG, how we meet and other things in these strange times we live in.

You can still join us! Simply sign-up using the button, and you can have a FREE month of membership. After that, it's just $24 / year (pro-rated). Come on and check us out.

So ... here is an update.

In normal times (the "before-times"), we would:

	Once a month	Meet at one of the four LEGO stores in MA and then go to a local restaurant
	Every few months	We would exhibit at a show, or put on a show
	Annually	Meet up for 2x4 day to celebrate all things LEGO
	Anytime	Chat on the forums, available to anyone who signs up to the club

With the pandemic, we are being COVID-aware and conforming to the various New England states' social distancing mandates and also taking all sensible precautions. Therefore, this is what we are doing right now: 

	Once a week	Meet via Zoom. These are very fun-filled meetings, where we can showcase things we've built, chit-chat and generally 'meet' in a safe way. Generally lasts about two hours, but you can come & go as you please.
	Anytime	Chat on the forums, available to anyone who signs up to the club

We are very much looking forward to getting back to some semblance of normality - meeting in person, attending shows and generally being able to enjoy LEGO life together. Until then, we are open for business!

Everyone should come out to play!

It's St. Patrick's Day and Evacuation Day this weekend. In between parades and corn beef dinners, why not come to see our latest display? NELUG will be exhibiting at the Greenberg Toy and Train Show at the Shriner's Autidorium in Wilmington, MA. The show runs from 10:00 to 4:00 Saturday and Sunday.

Okay, so plenty of things are more romantic than LEGO, but LEGO is fun. And trains are romantic, right? So for Valentine's weekend why not see some LEGO trains at the Wenham Museum in Wenham, MA?

This Saturdaty and Sunday, NELUG will have a train display at the museum featuring locomotives, a city, a farm, a castle, a carnival, and maybe a little prehistoric adventure. Come say &quot;Hi&quot; and bring your camera.
