The A-Wing first appeared in The Return of
the Jedi and has appeared in many of the
video games, comic books, and books since.
This is th fastest fighter in the Rebel fleet
and while it is a bit low on fire power it
more than makes up for it with manuverability.
This model has been modified quite a few
times since the first iteration of the model.
The following are some of the many of the
ray-tracings and pictures I have taken during
the evolution of this model going from most
recent to oldest from the top of the page
to the bottom.
Let me know what you think on LUGNET.

This is a Ray-Trace of my design of an A-Wing.
This is the most recent version of my A-Wing.
Although there are some parts of the model
I like I find that it does not shout out
A-Wing to me like my B-Wing model does. For
now I will let this be but I may make another
attempt in the future. |
This is the second version of the A-Wing
the biggest change made to this version from
the first version was the change in canopy.
This was mostly due to the fact that the
clear canopy was not available when I made
the first model and I was not able to make
this change until the Naboo Fighter was released
in mid 1999. |
This is the first version of my A-Wing model.
This also happened to be my first creation
after coming out of my "Dark Ages".
Although it is not my best attempt at a model
I think it was a good first try after a 13
odd year separation from my LEGO.
